AMP software automatically differentiates an image containing a check from other types of scanned documents, and processes the check image whether it is printed on check sized paper or whether it appears anywhere on a larger document.   The AMP software finds the MICR data containing bank routing and account numbers, then reads it quickly, accurately and with low substitution errors. This allows a user to scan a batch of paper documents without separating the checks from the other documents.
