All My Papers Announces Strategic Alliance with CONIX Systems to integrate image MICR verification and repair technology into item processing solution suite
Saratoga, CA. – April 29, 2005 - All My Papers a developer and distributor of software toolkits, applications that process, extracts data, and prints check images, announced today the formation of a strategic alliance with CONIX Systems Inc., a leading provider of payment processing solutions to the financial services industry.
The alliance allows CONIX Systems to integrate All My Papers’ image magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) verification and image repair technology into CONIX Systems’ IRD Print solution, which provides financial institutions with the ability to print Image Replacement Documents (IRDs) exactly as required by the recent Check 21 legislation. The CONIX IRD Print solution converts an X9.37 file into printed image replacement documents (IRDs) using a wide variety of MICR-capable printers.
The MICR verification feature allows customers to match electronic MICR data to an OCR read of the MICR line on images to ensure that printed IRDs are consistent with the original check to capture dashes, separation and other characters required by regulation.
The image repair technology allows financial institutions to use essentially every image by eliminating image background noise, repairing skewed images and improving overall image quality for MICR verification and printing. Both the MICR verification and image repair features are available as an optional feature to IrdLIB Software Developers Toolkit that can be executed both before and during the printing process.
The incorporation of All My Papers’ technology enables CONIX Systems to offer its customers greater efficiency and accuracy in their image processing operations.
